Two exciting events occurred at school today:
1. An email alert was sent out:
"A fox has been seen on school property. Per the DEC if the animal appears to have a glazed over look or be foaming at the mouth please take all children inside / keep far away."
I never saw the fox, but very much enjoyed the drama of it all.
2. I got to pull the fire alarm! We had a fire drill today and I was honored with the responsibility of pulling the alarm at exactly ten o'clock. I have to say that I may have built it up a little too much because by the time I actually fulfilled my obligation, I felt kind of bored by the whole thing. Still, at some point in every person's life, one should have the power to unite a population over the threat of a fire.
